April 2002 Meeting Notes Nine members and guests were present in April. Fred Ulrich called the meeting to order, Bob Stultz gave a treasurer's report, and we discussed the menu for our upcoming Founders' Day banquet, at which John Doyle will be the speaker. Joe M. Turner gave an update on the SEAM convention (August 8-10) and also described several new video releases. Nominees for officers were opened and will remain open until the May meeting, when we will vote. John Miller entertained with the Danny Archer "Eye Exam," followed by Gene Hendrix with another packet trick. Joe M. Turner performed an ace assembly and a cups and balls routine. Dan Garrett performed two routines from his new lecture -- a business card printing routine and a great torn and restored bill routine. Ron (guest -- last name) performed the Chicago Opener as our "Atlanta Closer." As always, additional sessioning continued after the main meeting concluded. |
