March 2003 - SAM Magic Endowment Fund Centennial Lecture Tour: Michael Ammar

On Monday, March 10, 2003, the Atlanta Society of Magicians was treated to a lecture by FISM gold medalist Michael Ammar. Michael, his lovely wife Hannah and daughter Savannah drove into the parking lot at First Baptist Church of Tucker in the motor home which is serving as their home base during the SAM Magic Endowment Centennial Lecture Tour.

The performance and lecture included many of the routines which have become associated with Mr. Ammar, such as the floating bill, bill to peanut, cups and balls, coins through silk, and card on ceiling. The teaching segments were clear and inspired many additional questions and stories from Mr. Ammar as well as the assembled magicians.
