June 2003 Assembly Report (sent to M-U-M) President: Gene Hendrix, geneh@attbi.com Add assembly report here. Carol Garrett, Assembly Secretary Assembly Minutes for June 12, 2003 Gene Hendrix called the meeting to order at 6:50 p.m Visitors were Ernie Becker, an Atlanta hobbyist and David Teeman, an IBM ring president from Oklahoma. Treasurer's report same as last month. Members were reminded that dues of $6 are due. Old business: Membership card and pin were presented to Gordon Astley. SAM National Convention is in Las Vegas July 7-10. Rick Hinze will be our official delegate. We have not had further communication from Jay Gorham about the National Council meeting for next spring. Rick Hinze has been appointed coordinator for entertainment for the show for the National Council meeting. New business: The official ballot was received. Since there were no positions that we were voting for that were opposed, it was decided to send the ballot to elect those nominated. One of our members, Charles Floyd, passed away. Dan Garrett will seek assistance from several members and write the obituary for the MUM. The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 p.m. Carol Garrett, Assembly Secretary |
